Quote it and get a yes
Price labour, paint, parts and outwork the way your bodyshop does, send the quote on a secure link and see when it's opened. The customer can accept online, so the job starts from what they agreed.
Quotes, job cards, a production board, VAT invoices and staff hours in one system. Built for bodyshops and accident repair centres that win their own work: private customers, fleet and trade, and smart repair.
No card details needed to start. Cancel any time.
The workflow
Price labour, paint, parts and outwork the way your bodyshop does, send the quote on a secure link and see when it's opened. The customer can accept online, so the job starts from what they agreed.
An accepted quote becomes a job card with its photos, parts and checklists. The production board has a tab for each of your own stages, and jobs move along as your team books work onto them.
Final costing checks the labour, parts and extras against the quote. The VAT invoice, payments and credit notes come from the same job, and sent invoices can sync to Sage Accounting.
An honest line
PanelDesk doesn't connect to Audatex UK or CAPS yet. If most of your jobs come through insurer approved-repairer networks, you'd be typing estimates twice, so we'd rather say so now. PanelDesk fits best when your work is:
Set up for the UK
Choose GBP, set VAT at 20% and say whether your prices include it. Every quote and invoice works it out from there.
Your VAT number, company registration number, logo and address print on your quotes and invoices.
Connect a UK Sage Accounting account and sent invoices go across by themselves. Payments you record in Sage come back onto the invoice.
PanelDesk runs in the browser on a PC, tablet or phone and installs as an app in seconds. No server to buy and no backups to run.
In more detail
Each part of PanelDesk has its own page with screenshots, what it does and the questions bodyshops ask about it.
UK bodyshop FAQ
What UK bodyshops ask before running their jobs on PanelDesk.
Not yet. PanelDesk doesn't import Audatex UK estimates or send messages through CAPS, so it isn't a good fit if most of your work comes through insurer approved-repairer networks. It suits bodyshops whose work is mostly private, fleet and trade, plus insurance jobs where the customer chose you.
No. It doesn't include manufacturer parts prices or repair times. You price the work yourself, and PanelDesk runs the job from there: the quote, the job card, the costing, the invoice and keeping the customer posted.
PanelDesk adds VAT to quotes and invoices at the rate you set and prints your VAT number on them. It doesn't submit VAT returns, so it isn't Making Tax Digital software itself. Your accounting software files the return, and if you use Sage Accounting, sent invoices sync across without retyping.
On the Workforce plan, staff clock in and out by tapping their NFC tag on a tablet or reader, or a manager records the hours by hand. The tags and reader are bought separately. Attendance exports as a PDF for whoever runs your payroll.
No. PanelDesk runs in the browser and installs as an app on a PC, tablet or phone in seconds, with no app store. There's no server to buy, back up or patch.
Yes. Customer lists import free from a CSV file, and older documents can come across from your previous system's export. Whether that costs anything depends on how much there is, and we confirm it upfront. You can export everything back out at any time.
Yes. The trial runs for 30 days and needs no card details, so you can put a few live jobs through it before you decide.
Thirty days free, no card details, and nothing to switch off while you look. Run a few live jobs through it and see how the bodyshop runs on one system.
